Natalija qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1999 and specialised in the field of neurological and spinal cord injury. Her career has included working as a Senior Nurse at the National Neurology Hospital, Queen Square, London for over 12 years before commencing work as a Senior Case Manager at the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre, Stanmore. She then joined the operational management team and became a Director of Clinical Services at The North London Hospice and became a Nurse Lead Investigator at NHS Professionals. Being part of the Clinical Governance team led to a natural progression into an expert witness role.

Bola acted as care coordinator for several designated patients and care for their needs, and participated in assessment of patient's current and future needs, stipulating individual care plans appropriate for their needs, recording guidelines to living independently in the community. She has assisted patients with budgeting, social care, utility bills, health appointment and ensuring they live in a safe and secure environment. Her development is under the Department of Health Assessment Framework.

Bola also specialises in risk assessment procedures and ensuring physical health check is carried out periodically. Assess patient’s risk and harm to others in the community. She is experienced in the administration of prescribed medications, and in monitoring side effects and a patient’s mental state after administration. She prepares and produces written and oral reports within pre-determined timescales, and liaises with external and internal agencies, patients and their families promoting good relationships between them.
